Supporting structure planning.

The conception of a supporting structure has a great impact on construction costs. It is the basis for the sub-sequent skeleton construction work. But everything that is technically feasible should also be financially justifiable – the more demanding a constructive solution, the more know-how and knowledge are required for costeffective realisation.

Our supporting structure planners therefore start their work as early as the architect’s first drafts. Many criteria must be taken into consideration: from the stability of the structure as a whole to the design of details. All conceivable systems, cross-sectional forms and construction procedures are applied in the process. We use reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete or composite constructions in addition to steel, wood or glass constructions – and we also use innovative building methods and new building materials where useful. Even difficult situations with the foundations or excavation can be resolved.
The German Hospital Group performs all services – from the preliminary draft via approval and execution planning to property surveillance. Conversions to existing buildings, often impeded by due to the fact that they are already in use, are continually gaining in significance. This is why the structural investigation and survey is also a part of our portfolio in the same way as planning and the tendering of maintenance and reinforcement measures, including technical and economic surveillance. In short: the supporting structure planners of the German Hospital Group are a one-stop shop.
